Trainees & Apprenticeships

Working with the Australian Government Apprenticeship Incentive Program, Cut & Fill offers apprenticeship opportunities to both current and prospective employees in the disciplines of Civil Construction and or Diesel Mechanics with the goal of enriching the competency of the next generation of civil engineering contractors.

In partnership with a third party training authority we are committed to ensuring all our trainees have the skills and knowledge needed to be confident, effective and efficient employees today and in the future. Sponsored training offered include Nationally Recognised Qualifications in Cert I, II or III in Civil construction (Plant Operations), a Diploma in Civil Construction Management or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical).

Our Trainee/Apprentice programs are being delivered and assessed during normal working hours where 'face to face' training is completed on a monthly basis to cover the theoretical areas of the course. The majority of the training takes place whilst the Trainee/Apprentice carries out daily duties. During the program the trainee will be required to complete exercises and will be observed and verbally questioned which forms the assessment of your skills and knowledge. There are no exams or tests.

Cut & Fill is very excited to be able to offer this learning opportunity to update an employee's existing skills and gain a nationally recognised Certificate. Many of our Project Supervisors and Leading Hands commenced with us as trainees straight out of secondary school. We are very proud of our achievements in this area.
